What is
E-Design?
E-Design means that you don't need to be located nearby in order to work with us. Every single packages we offer can be completed entirely remotely.
Using video conferencing and file sharing, we'll tour your home, share files and photos, and even help you style and finish the space, all without needing to set foot in your home. Learn more here.

Design your space, start to finish
The Full Room Design package is our most robust. Working closely together, we will craft spaces that are surprising, exciting, and perfectly suited to you. Our most important goal is always to create a room that feels like home.

The cost for this package is $850 for the first room, and $700 for each additional room thereafter.

Get started with a free consultation
We'll meet virtually for a consultation to talk more about working together. You'll tell us about what you're looking for, and hopefully give us a quick video tour of the space. Then we'll talk about our packages, and how we can help. This consultation is our first step in any design project, and is always free.
the design process
Whether you're local to the DC area or based anywhere across the country, Haven provides customized solutions for your home. With our Full Room Design package, we'll help you decide how you want your room to look and function. Here’s what you can expect:
Step 1: Intake meeting
During our intake meeting, we dig down deep into what you want from your space. Spending time in each room, we'll guide you through a conversation about what is and isn't working for you, taking into account everything from space use to furniture layouts to lighting to scale to décor.
Step 2: Design Plans
Your Design Plan will address all areas of the big picture of your design: floorplans, fixtures, flooring, furniture, upholstery, rugs, built-ins...everything. We'll create two different looks for you, with mood boards that help you visualize how everything will come together.
Step 3: Edits
After you choose which Design Plan you like, we'll swap out pieces and make changes to the designs based on your feedback. Once the look is finalized, we'll move on to paint colors, smaller furniture items, and secondary elements.
Step 4: Purchasing and installation
Once our Design Plan is finalized, we move forward with purchasing and installing new pieces. If we have any carpentry or renovation projects as part of our design, we'll also provide you with design specs that you can share with your contractor, and be on hand to answer any questions as they arise.
Step 5: Final styling
Once everything has arrived, we will work on finishing touches like plants, pillows, and décor. If you're local, we will source these items for you and style them in person. For e-design clients, we'll walk you through the process virtually. At the end, your home will be photo-ready and styled to perfection.

With Help.
If you need some help bringing your space together, our Lite Room Design package may be just what you're looking for.
Some clients already have their furniture, but don't know how to lay it out in their new home. Others love the process of collecting antiques one by one, but don't know how to pull their pieces together into a cohesive design. Whatever the reason, our Lite Design lite package can help give you the guidance you need to finish your space the way you want to.

The cost for this package is $400 per room.
How Does It Work?
Starting with a virtual consultation, we'll walk through your home together and talk about any ideas and plans you already have. We'll help guide you through a brainstorming session about what is and isn't working for you in the space, and where you'd like it to wind up.
First, we'll provide you with several floorplans, including different ideas for how to lay out furniture you already have, or items that are on your shopping list. Hopefully, we'll help you see possibilities you hadn't seen before!
Second, your Lite Design Plan will include two mood boards with color schemes, product ideas, and inspiration you can use to pull together your final look at your own pace.

Whole Home Analysis
The cost for this package is $450.
The Final Touches
You've picked out furniture, you've got a sofa and some chairs, there's enough storage. So why does your room still feel...empty? Our Finishing and Styling package is just what you need to pull your whole room together. This is the step where your space starts to really feel like home.
After discussing and agreeing on a style and color scheme for your room, we'll source and install finishing touches like art, pillows and throws, plants and decor, and other small items that make your room feel finished and cohesive.
This package is $400 for the first room
and $300 for each additional room thereafter.

How Does It Work?
Following a virtual consultation to see your space and discuss what you're looking for, we will curate decor pieces and styling items to get your space totally pulled together.
Single item selection
Finding the Perfect Piece
Have you ever bought what you were sure would be the perfect piece, and brought it home to find that it didn't work at all?
...Have you done that more than once?
Whether it's a rug with the right colors, a table that suits unusual dimensions, or an art canvas to tie everything together, our Furniture Selection consultation will help you find just the right piece.
The cost for this package is $100 per item.
How Does It Work?
Following a virtual consultation to see your space and discuss what you're looking for, we will source up to 10 options that will work with the size, scale, and aesthetic of your room.
Need a little more help? Try pairing the Single Item package with the Lite Room Design package. You'll get overall guidance for your room, plus a little more help picking out the pieces that are most important to you.
Paint color consultation
Finding the Right Shade
If you've ever painted a room and suffered immediate regret, or stared in panic at the 100 different shades of white available at the paint store, you know how tricky it can be to balance shade, tone, and tint to colors that work.
With this package, we'll help you pick out colors for one room or your whole home. By the time the painters show up, you'll be ready with a color palette that thrills you.
The cost for this package is $200.
